How are NJ Kids Faring? Find out at Kids Count 2012: The State of Our Children
Please join us for the release of our annual statewide New Jersey Kids Count. This report provides a statewide profile of child well-being in critical areas, including health, education, child protection and family economic success. This session will include a youth presentation, an overview of the latest Kids Count state data and a chance to discuss emerging issues.
This year, we will hold a special forum on the proposed state budget immediately following the Kids Count release and overview. The State Budget Forum will examine the governor’s budget proposal, with a focus on early care and education issues, emerging issues in the ongoing budget debate and how you can influence the budget process to increase New Jersey’s investment in children and families. (A boxed lunch will be provided to budget forum participants).
