The state budget approved by legislators includes additional funding for child care and tax credits for the working poor – two issues that we have been championing throughout the budget season. Now, we have to convince Governor Christie to maintain these investments. The governor has until June 30 to sign the budget into law – and he has the power to veto specific funding requests.
