Hello Supporter,

We are excited that so many of you have registered to attend the 2nd annual release of Advocate for Children’s NJ Food For Thought School Breakfast report, set for Oct. 2 at 8:45 a.m. at Eastside, High School, 238 Van Buren Street, Newark, NJ.

Special Guests!

We are pleased to be joined by Newark Superintendent Cami Anderson, Mayor Cory Booker, Education Commissioner Chris Cerf and Agriculture Secretary Douglas Fisher, as well as a special guest appearance by an NFL player, courtesy of the American Dairy Council and Association.

Newark Leads on School Breakfast
Newark has long been a leader on the school breakfast front. Superintendent Anderson will showcase the district’s successful school breakfast program and the important connection between nutrition and learning. ACNJ will release new statistics on school breakfast participation for districts across New Jersey.

We will also introduce the many partners of the NJ Food for Thought School Breakfast Campaign and highlight the campaign’s activities. Join the movement to ensure all children begin their school day with a full stomach.

Please register online today.

Sincerely,

Cecilia Zalkind
Executive Director
