Dear Supporter:
Nearly 100 people have registered to be part of crafting real solutions for Newark kids. There’s still time for you to join them.
Register today for the first-ever Newark Kids Count Forum at Rutgers-Newark on March 13.
Using an interactive format, we will explore issues that threaten Newark children and identify concrete next steps that we, as a community, can take. We will focus on two broad areas – child and maternal health and early literacy. Special guests include Newark’s Branch Brook Elementary Principal Joseph Cullen, whose students achieve well above city and state averages on reading tests.
The results and our recommendations will be shared with Mayor Cory Booker and the just-forming Early Childhood Policy Council.
Your input is critical! Register online today for this free event.
Sincerely,
Cecilia Zalkind
