Dear Supporter,

Tens of thousands of educators in New Jersey and across the country are using videos to improve kindergarten for young children in New Jersey and across the country.

While many of our state’s children attend high-quality preschool, kindergarten programs should match that same level of quality, in order to build upon and sustain the gains made in preschool.

High-Quality Kindergarten Today is a 3-part series highlighting best practices in three areas -- developmentally-appropriate teaching practices, the classroom environment and the class schedule. The videos were produced by Advocates for Children of New Jersey and the NJ Department of Education, with Sandra Levine Productions, and funded from the Foundation for Child Development.

If you have not yet watched these very informative videos, please take some time to view them now.

Sincerely,

Cecilia Zalkind
Executive Director
