New school breakfast report set for Oct. 1 release
Find out on Oct. 1 when Advocates for Children of New Jersey releases its 3rd Annual NJ Food for Thought School Breakfast Report. The report will document the progress of New Jersey schools in serving breakfast to more students, giving them the fuel they need to concentrate and learn. We will also release data for hundreds of districts showing which ones are breakfast champs and which ones need to step up to meet the school breakfast challenge. Plus, we will spotlight Edison – a suburban district that is now feeding all of its students breakfast in the classroom.

Urge your senators to show support for preschool
Remember Chutes and Ladders? Sure you do. In a creative campaign to get the attention of federal lawmakers on a national proposal to expand early learning, the Strong Start for Children Campaign is teaming up with MomsRising to play a GIANT (like 40-foot-wide) game of early learning themed Chutes and Ladders on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol on Sept. 18. And we want YOUR SENATORS to play with us.
Can you click a few buttons to invite YOUR SENATORS to play the game and see how much early learning moves our children — and our country — forward?
