Join us for release of new child care report
ACNJ's will release Meeting New Jersey's Child Care Challenge: A Kids Count Special Report, on Dec. 11 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The event will be held at The Children's Learning Center, Brookdale Community College, 765 Newman Springs Road, Parking Lot #4, Lincroft.
The report will detail the state of child care in New Jersey, with a specific focus on cost and quality. ACNJ will offer recommendations to make child care more affordable to New Jersey’s working families, and ways to improve the quality of care, especially for young children. This critical issue affects not only children and families, but businesses and employers throughout the state.

It's #GivingTuesday! And this holiday season, the best gift you can give can’t be found in any store. It doesn’t come in a box or with a bow. It’s the gift of opportunity - for every New Jersey child.
Support ACNJ and our work to ensure all children have a chance to grow up safe, healthy and educated. Your gift helps us ensure New Jersey’s children are a top priority for our leaders.

Is a child of a relative or close friend living in your home and you are the primary caretaker? Has the child been living with you for more than the last 12 months? Do the parents have serious problems that prevent them from caring for their child? Are you willing to raise the child to adulthood? If you answered “yes” to these questions, then you may want to become the child’s kinship legal guardian. ACNJ has just released an updated guide with easy-to-follow steps to give your child a forever home.
