Dear Supporter,

The federal law that allocates funds to states for child care is scheduled to be voted on in the U.S. Senate this week. We need to tell our senators to support this important piece of legislation, which would require states to meet higher standards, while providing more federal funding to meet new requirements.

Send a message now. It takes just a minute to make a difference for kids.

The proposal would strengthen the Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG) by:

▪    Conducting comprehensive background checks
▪    Increasing quality funds to states
▪    Strengthening parent awareness of quality care
▪    Inspecting child care programs before being licensed
▪    Providing ongoing financial assistance to families so children receive continuity of care

Learn more about the proposal.

Send a message to your Senators today!

Sincerely,

Cecilia Zalkind
