Dear Supporter,

Right now, Congress is deciding how it will fund the Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting program. In New Jersey, these funds support home visitation in all 21 counties. These programs are proven to help infants get off to a stronger, healthy start.

Today, child advocates across the nation are sending messages to Congress urging support for this legislation. Send your message now! It only takes a minute. The more people speaking up for kids, the better the chances this funding will be available for New Jersey children.

It’s urgent that you take action today, as this may be the last chance this year for this program to be “reauthorized.” Send a message now.

You can also call your representatives. When you reach the office, say you are a constituent and would like to speak to the health legislative assistant. Let them know you support the federal Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting Program. Click here for contact info.

Share on social media! Take a minute to show your support on social media and encourage others to take action!

Sample Facebook post: I support the federal home visiting program to help vulnerable families raise healthy children and become economically self-sufficient. Call Congress now to continue funding for home visiting programs.

Sample Tweet: Call Congress to #supportMIECHV to help vulnerable families succeed and save taxpayers money.

Send a quick e-mail message now!

Sincerely,

Cecilia Zalkind
