Advocates for Children of New Jersey (ACNJ) and the NJ Food for Thought School Breakfast Campaign will release the 5th Annual NJ School Breakfast Report on Oct. 15 at 9:30 a.m. at the Fred W. Martin School, 59 Wilkinson Avenue, Jersey City.

A photo-op of students eating breakfast in the classroom, with Jersey City Superintendent Marcia Lyles, ACNJ Director Cecilia Zalkind and other local, state and federal leaders, will be held at 8:30 a.m.

The report features new data that show New Jersey making continued progress on its historically low participation rate in the federal School Breakfast Program, identifies districts that are “school breakfast champs” and “underachievers” and provides district-level data for hundreds of NJ school districts.

For an embargoed copy and data for districts in your coverage area, contact Nancy Parello at nparello@acnj.org, (908) 399-6031 (cell).
