Please join us for the Nourishing Communities: Ingredients for Success Forum on Jan. 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Stockton University.

This free event will bring together a cross-section of Atlantic County stakeholders to learn about ways to expand federal and state nutrition programs, claim more federal dollars to combat hunger and ensure all Atlantic County children and families have the nutrition they need to be healthy, learn and grow.

Representatives from the New Jersey Department of Agriculture, AtlantiCare, the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, the Cumberland, Cape, Atlantic YMCA, Advocates for Children of New Jersey and others will be on hand for an interactive program focused on expanding summer meals, farm-to-school, healthy corner stores and other nutritional initiatives – many of which can bring needed dollars into communities to feed residents.
