February 22, 2017 Toolkits, resources and great ideas for School Breakfast WeekNational School Breakfast Week, set for March 6 through 10, is a great time to promote your breakfast programs and highlight the need for students to begin their day with a nutritious meal. Here are some great resources that make it simple to involve students, parents and the whole school community in celebrating breakfast. Listen to the Food Research and Action Center’s webinar with great ideas and resources. The National School Nutrition Association offers an easy-to-use toolkit chock full of great ideas. Action for Healthy Kids serves up tips, ideas and links to more resources. If you’re using social media to promote School Breakfast Week, be sure to use the hashtag #NSBW17. Happy celebrating! |
