Dear Supporter:

Without knowing how many people may lose coverage or see huge premium increases for preexisting conditions, the House of Representatives may vote TODAY on the American Health Care Act (AHCA) without fixing any of the problems with the bill that would put health care at risk for hundreds of thousands of New Jersey kids.

Children across New Jersey are counting on you to call your Congressional representatives TODAY to urge them to VOTE NO on the AHCA.

If the AHCA becomes law, health care and insurance for New Jersey children will be on the chopping block. Kids need care, not cuts.

• 838,000 children in NJ rely on Medicaid and NJ FamilyCare to access doctor’s visits and medicine they need to be healthy.
• Proposed cuts in Medicaid expansion would reverse New Jersey’s gains in making sure kids have health coverage and care.
• None of the amendments proposed would protect New Jersey kids from cuts in basic health care or disability care.

Please tell your representatives to VOTE NO on this legislation as currently written.
