Dear Supporter:

Urgent!
Tell Congress to reauthorize CHIP today.

Click here to read what will happen if CHIP funding is not extended.

While the repeal of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) has been stalled, access to healthcare for many New Jersey children is still in jeopardy.  Nationally, millions of children have health insurance through the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). But funding for this crucial program is set to expire on September 30th, meaning Congress has only 3 business days left to reauthorize CHIP before funding runs out.

Thanks to NJ FamilyCare, thousands of New Jersey children have access to healthcare coverage who would otherwise be without. NJ FamilyCare is partially funded by the federal CHIP.

CHIP has enjoyed strong, bipartisan support in New Jersey and nationally for decades. Please contact your representatives and tell them to support a 5-year reauthorization of CHIP funding, so the program can continue to help the families and children who need it most.  Please ACT TODAY.

Please share this with your networks and contacts!

Sincerely,

Cecilia Zalkind
President/CEO
