What: This event is the official launch of the Right From The Start NJ campaign, featuring authors of the highly acclaimed new book, Cradle to Kindergarten: A New Plan to Combat Inequality. Steve Adubato will moderate a conversation about their plan to ensure high-quality early childhood and development opportunities for all children. 

A panel discussion of NJ early care and education experts will follow. Panelists include:

• Bonnie Eggenburg:  president, New Jersey Head Start Association
• Ellen Frede: co-director, National Institute for Early Education Research  
• Beverly Lynn: CEO,  Programs for Parents, Newark, NJ
• Karen White: director, Work and Family Programs, Center for Women and Work, Rutgers University

Why: Learning begins at birth and the Right From the Start NJ campaign is dedicated to ensuring that resources and services are in place so that all infants and toddlers in New Jersey can achieve the highest level of cognitive, emotional, and physical development possible. The first priority on the campaign's agenda is improving access to safe, high-quality child care for all children.
