What: This event is the official launch of the Right From The Start NJ campaign, featuring authors of the highly acclaimed new book, Cradle to Kindergarten: A New Plan to Combat Inequality. Steve Adubato will moderate a conversation about their plan to ensure high-quality early childhood and development opportunities for all children.
A panel discussion of NJ early care and education experts will follow. Panelists include:
- Bonnie Eggenburg: president, New Jersey Head Start Association
- Ellen Frede: co-director, National Institute for Early Education Research
- Beverly Lynn: CEO, Programs for Parents, Newark, NJ
- Karen White: director, Work and Family Programs, Center for Women and Work, Rutgers University

The first priority on the campaign's agenda is improving access to safe, high-quality child care for all children.
