Last month, Strolling Thunder participants rallied at the statehouse to tell Governor Murphy and legislators that we want them to think babies when they are making decisions.  But that was only the beginning of our work to ensure babies have the supports necessary for healthy growth and development right from the start.  Here is what you can do next:

1. Be a Big Voice for Little Kids™. On June 21, join advocates across the country for a Think Babies and Act! Day of Action to tell Congress to make babies their priority as they make funding decisions for the year! In the meantime, please share with your friends and family. 2. Share your story. Read stories about the child care dilemma that many families in New Jersey face and then share your own. Your story matters and we want to hear it in your own words.  Tell us your story today.
3. Join our Summer Advocacy Training Institute. In the next few weeks, we will be holding trainings to help advocates at the local level advance policy that will help families and their babies thrive. Stay tuned as we finalize the dates.
4. Get informed. ACNJ will be releasing its first ever Babies Count data report on July 26. Save the date.
