Dear Supporter:

We need you to join us in crafting concrete solutions to the issues that keep Newark’s children from growing up safe, healthy and educated.

So please join us on March 13 for the first-ever Newark Kids Count Forum at Rutgers-Newark. We will use just-released Kids Count data to inform our discussion, identify issues and come up with solutions to share with Mayor Cory Booker and the just-forming Early Childhood Policy Council.

Your input is critical! Register online today for this free event.

Using an interactive format, we will explore issues that threaten Newark children and identify concrete next steps that we, as a community, can take. We will focus on two broad areas – child and maternal health and early literacy. Special guests include Newark’s Branch Brook Elementary Principal Joseph Cullen, whose students achieve well above city and state averages on reading tests.

Register today!

Sincerely,

Cecilia Zalkind
Executive Director
