Advocates for Children of New Jersey will release a report about chronic school absenteeism in Newark schools on Jan. 21 at 9:30 a.m. at Rutgers University, Paul Robeson Campus Center, Room: Passaic 226, 350 Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd., Newark.
The report examines the reasons behind the high rate of absenteeism among young Newark students and offers solutions to ensure all children attend school regularly.
