Dear Supporter:

This week (February 20-24), members of Congress will be on recess and back in their home districts. This is the perfect time for them to hear from you about how federal programs help children and families in your community!

Send a message.

These programs are often the lifeline for many families and this year, almost all of them will require Congressional review of funding amounts.

In New Jersey, cuts to these programs could affect:

  • 783,000 children who depend on healthcare for immunizations and routine check-ups.
  • Click here to view local district data.
  • 44,000 working families who depend on child care.
  • 230,000 children who eat breakfast at school every day, starting the day prepared to learn.
  • 2,000 4-year-olds who attend high-quality preschool.
  • 7,100 young children and pregnant moms who receive home visits from nurses or specialized home visitors.

Here are a few ways to make your voice heard RIGHT NOW!

Tell them how these programs affect you and your family, your community or your work

Together, we can make the voices of kids and families heard! Thank you.

Sincerely,
