Happy Thanksgiving! What are you thankful for?
This month, we want to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has been a part of our advocacy efforts. We could not do this work alone and we want to recognize those who have supported us throughout the campaign! Thank you!

We are truly thankful to our partners at the South Ward Children’s Alliance (SWCA) in Newark! The SWCA brought a bus-load of parents to Strolling Thunder NJ in May and since then, they have continued to invite the ACNJ team to participate in their family engagement activities.
Last month, ACNJ staff decided to color outside the lines a bit, develop some fresh-out-of-the-box costume ideas, and attended a Halloween party hosted by SWCA. Not only did ACNJ staff hand out candy (and showed off our awesome Crayola-designing skills), we were able to talk to parents about the Think Babies NJ campaign and pass out brochures and magnets.
Would you like the ACNJ team to attend an event, meeting, or presentation? Reach out to us!

To date, ACNJ has held five advocacy trainings across the state in Newark, Trenton, Camden, Paterson, and Toms River! To keep up the momentum and provide a space for advocates to connect, swap stories and share ideas, ACNJ has created a private Facebook group. Click here to join the group!

We want to hear from you!
Parents are increasingly relying on grandparents to care for their little ones.
Do you use grandparent care?
Take our poll! We will share the results in our December newsletter!
